A kétpettyes katicához hasonlóan a fák lombkoronájában él, ezért erre a fajra különösen nagy veszélyt jelent.
Harmonia axyridis, commonly known as the harlequin ladybird is a large coccinellid beetle. Its colour ranges from yellow-orange to black, and the number of spots between none and 22. It is native to eastern Asia, but has been artificially introduced to North America and Europe to control aphids and scale insects. It is now common, well known, and spreading in those regions, and has also established in South Africa and widely across South America. In areas where this beetle has been introduced causes a threat to native species and biodiversity and to the grape industry.

The Canadian Tiger Swallowtail is one of the best-known butterflies in this country because of its size (wingspan: 53 to 90 mm) and distinctive pattern. The yellow ground colour with wide, black tiger stripes catches the attention of even the most casual observer. It has a wide, black band along the inner margin of the hindwing. The underside is yellow, often with extensive over-scaling of orange, and black
